Our brains evolved to help us survive the daily threats to our life. Our brains fire off hormones like adrenaline and cortisol making our hearts beat faster, our breath to quicken and our muscles to tense giving our bodies the physical edge needed to either run away from the threat or fight it off.
Although the level of threats to our lives may decrease, our brains have retained this survival feature. Now, different things are perceived as threats to our brains but our brain still goes through the motions to prepare you to ‘fight or flight’ leaving stress hormones coursing through your veins. Living in a stress state can result in physical and emotional symptoms.
I can help you uncover the root triggers of your stress responses and replace them with positive responses regaining your control.
We all know that Self-confident people are successful in their chosen career ▪ highly sociable ▪popular with others ▪unphased by problems or illnesses and ▪ always relaxed. Right?
Yet, most of us experience low self confidence at some point in our lives which is perfectly normal. However, if your entire life is consumed with these feelings of low self-confidence where you begin thinking, “I'm not good enough”, or "I'm not worthy", and life can be challenging on a daily basis. You might find yourself becoming socially withdrawn, no motivation, always feeling judged and increased anxiety. Sound Familiar?
It's frustrating not living up to what you envision for yourself and perhaps you've lost track of your dreams along the way. These negative thoughts have deep roots in your subconscious - It's no wonder you have difficulty changing them!
While these defensive responses helped you survive in the past; they're now holding you back and it's time to let them go.
Trauma happens and it can be scary!
You might find your mind re-experiencing those traumatic memories through nightmares or recurring thoughts. Perhaps triggered by sounds, smells, tastes or even rogue comments leading to increased anxiety and panic.
Like a turtle, you retreat back into the safety of your shell; socially isolating yourself in an attempt to avoid remembering the event. PTSD often brings extra baggage such as irritability, sleep disruption, depression, and hypervigilance.
You can never let your guard down…never truly be at peace with yourself or your surroundings.
Through hypnotherapy we will identify any triggers or other memories that are adding fuel to the wildfire of PTSD. You will discover that your responses to these “triggers” will become less and less, reducing your overall stress. You will have more control of your life and stop hiding in your shell.

Online sessions give you the flexibility to access this support and are held from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient for you through my easy scheduling platform.
All sessions on done through zoom. therefore, you will get the most out of your session if you:
· Settle in a quiet place where you won't be disturbed for the next hour.
· Have good internet access and use a laptop with headphone
· Give yourself permission to take this time for YOU.
· Come open to the experience and prepared to create new possibilies
for how you see yourself and your world.
